Team Triumph is a group of dedicated Hamilton Police Officers, as well as civilian members who have bonded together to raise both awareness for diabetes and funds for research. Since 2006
members have been involved in the annual "Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes" fundraiser. In 2009 Team Triumph initiated their inagural fall fundraiser,
"Tournamant of Triumph" paintball fundraiser. This JDRF fundraiser is unique in style where
members of the community are invited to organize an 8 person team of paintballers and take on members of the Police tactical team. In 2009, $10,000 was raised in this one day fundraiser.
The "Eco Insulation Tour of Triumph" has been a dream for Team Triumph for years and in 2011 this dream is going to become a reality. The three dedicated "Eco Insulation Tour of Triumph" riders are embarking on a 4653km trek from Vancouver, BC to Hamilton, Ontario in order to raise their goal of raising $100,000 for the JDRF. This goal will not be possible without the support of the local, provincial and national
business community to assist with donations for this great cause. Any and all sponsorships will be greatly welcomed.
